  • How is the Thorvald Lissau units assembled?

  • How is the bookcase delivered and shipped?

    The bookcase is delivered assembled but folded. The design of the shelf means that it can be folded out. Upon receipt, the bookcase must be unpacked and the bolts retightened. Wrench and assembly instructions are included. Assembly instructions can also be downloaded here
  • How to clean the shelving units?

    The untreated shelving units can be washed with a damp cloth and soap flakes. Oiled can also be washed with soap and re-treated with oil. Re-treatment requires the same oil with which it was originally treated and can be ordered from us by contacting customer service. The shelf can also be vacuum cleaned.
  • Is there a tolerance for the straightness of the slats?

    As described in the Technical Description, wood is a natural material that can show differences in colour and direction. Therefore, knots and irregularities may appear in the wood.
  • What are your sales and delivery terms?

  • How are the goods shipped?

    All shelves with dimensions under 2 meters are shipped with GLS, otherwise the shelf is shipped with Danish freight carriers. You may allow GLS and Danish carriers to place packages in garage doors, etc. at your own risk.
  • Can I order spare parts?

    Yes. Both new slats, as well as screws and bolts can be requisitioned. Contact tl@lissaureolen.dk.
  • Can I get design advice?

    You can always contact us by phone or email with questions about the bookcase.
  • How do I mount the shelving units on the wall?

    Serious or fatal injuries can occur if the furniture falls over. To prevent the furniture from tipping over, it must be secured to the wall with the wall brackets provided. Screws and rawl plugs are not included. Use screws/rawlplugs designed for the walls in your home. If in doubt, consult a professional. Read and follow all steps in the instructions carefully.
