About Thorvald Lissau
The bookcase is built of solid wooden slats, alternating between vertical and horizontal. This gives a light, elegant and floating construction. The bookcase comes in untreated solid oak slats or with clear bio-oil, and can also be ordered in other woods.
The bookcase is designed and developed by the Lissau family. The founder, manufacturer Thorvald Lissau, started producing exclusive wooden blinds and roller blinds in 1922. Later, the Lissau shelving system was developed by designer and director Henrik Lissau. The first, in oak, saw the light of day in 1962: an airy, elegant piece of furniture made of solid wooden slats, where countless combinations are possible.
Owner Thomas Lissau is also a cabinetmaker and has expanded, updated and continued the elegant shelving system. Today, Thomas and his wife Lotte are in charge of production and sales of this classic icon.

1. FLOAT
The FLOAT shelving units are rectangular hanging shelves that are mounted on the wall. They have an airy elegance as if they are floating. They blend into the room in a classic, non-dominant way. The Thorvald Lissau FLOAT shelving units can be combined in many ways. Four different widths and two heights are available as standard, with depths of 27 and 31 cm to suit your needs. As entrance furniture, the hanging shelf can be fitted with a hanger rod in 16mm brushed tubular steel or 19mm brass mounted underneath. The shelf is used here as a piece of furniture for hanging outerwear. The shelf itself is used for gloves, scarves and/or as a hat rack etc. In the price list you can see the different combination possibilities and otherwise you are very welcome to contact us for a special solution. 2. KUBUS
The KUBUS collection can be combined in many ways. As standard, we have two widths and two heights - with different divisions. The rack can be wall-mounted, as well as placed on top of each other.See KUBUS here

4. LOW
Se LOW herLOW is the low version of the CLASSIC bookcase. It can be placed under paintings, TV or windows, making it practical for homes with limited wall space. It also doesn't take up the whole wall, giving a lighter look. It can be used for storing books, decorative items or in the hallway for storing shoes etc.
